Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Nooks Owl. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Nooks Owl

You must be 18 or older. Accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are removed.

One account per person. Keep your sign-in email secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Nooks Owl is for kind, respectful conversations. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

You must not post, say or send anything that is: sexual or sexually suggestive; harassing, bullying, threatening or hateful; violent or encouraging self-harm; illegal, including drugs, weapons or scams; spam or advertising; someone else's personal information.

You must not record calls without the other person's consent, pretend to be someone else, or try to meet or contact minors.

If you break these rules we may remove your content, limit your account, or ban you without warning. Serious cases may be reported to the police.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any topic, comment, chat, profile or call, and block anyone. Blocked people can't see, message or call you.

We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You own what you post: topics, comments, messages, voice notes and photos. You give us permission to store and show it to other people in the app so the service works.

Calls are not recorded or stored by us.

Call minutes and ads

Everyone gets free call minutes every day, and you can earn more by watching ads. Minutes have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and we may change how many are given.

Trying to cheat the minutes system, for example with fake ad views, may lead to a ban.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time in Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, photos, topics, comments, messages, voice notes and call history.

No guarantees

Nooks Owl is provided as it is. People you meet are strangers: use your judgement, never share money or personal details, and leave any conversation that feels wrong. We aren't responsible for what other users say or do, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are important we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Nooks Owl means you accept the updated terms.
